Kettlebell Training & Fitness
The K2 Kettlebell Club (KBC) is the perfect complement to our other training programs. Kettlebells are a traditional Russian training tool that are often described as the martial arts of weightlifting. These unique tools have been used since the turn of the 20th century to develop full body conditioning and high levels of fitness.
At our gym, we recognize the benefits of kettlebell training, which include improved strength, increased work capacity, enhanced athleticism, weight loss, injury prevention, mental toughness, lean and functional muscle mass, strengthening the entire posterior chain, core strength, and sport and martial arts applications.

Overview
The shape of a kettlebell, which looks like a cannonball with a handle, allows for proper positioning of the weight over the center mass of your body, which helps keep your hands and wrists in neutral alignment. This enables greater endurance and longevity in the core lifts, allowing you to produce a much greater volume of exercise, resulting in greater conditioning and fitness. Bell movements build deep neuromuscular foundations for athletic strength and power. They utilize all muscles of the body while first accelerating and then decelerating a load and delivering intense anaerobic conditioning. Force production, force absorption, and hand-eye coordination are simultaneously learned through compound kettlebell movements. Additionally, the skill of tension followed by relaxation is not only necessary for athletic endurance but also has health benefits.
Kettlebells & Fitness
The K2 KBC offers the unique challenge of displaced center of mass that uniquely challenges the body’s stabilizer muscles and forces the entire body to participate in the movement, recruiting more muscles and joints, providing a much more realistic approach to conditioning. Kettlebell training results in increased circulation in the joints, increasing joint health. Kettlebells are also portable and lend themselves well to remote and austere environment training.
